Radiation in an oven
Hello.
I have a question concerning radiation in an oven (the oven has an 1300°C-Opening instead of walls; a 'real' brick wall exists only around the burner). For the fluid I use Discrete Transfer Radiation. For the Oven Wall (which is made of white brick) I do not use any radiation model, since it is opaque. My question now is, whether the 'Emissivity' value I can set on the fluid side of the interface 'fluid - oven wall' sets the absorption coefficient of the oven wall? I ask because changing it has no effect on the temperature distribution within the oven wall which is far to high when radiation is modeled and I think that this maybe has to do with missing reflection. Thank you for any help! Regards |
