Turbulence model

While analysing the problem for axial fan problem i took suggestion from expert and they suggest me to use SST model. I had not gone through proper theory and blindly follow what they suggest with SST model i am getting pressure rise what i want but when i use K-epsilon model it is not giving me the required results... i would like to know from fundamentals point of view... why this difference?

Hope you will not disappoint me..
kindly suggest me some referenec for the same...

Thanking you,

Chase up the references in the CFX documentation on the SST model. They explain the benefits of the SST model. Also talk to your CFX support person, they should have lots of research papers exploring applications using the SST model.
