about transient flow past a cilynder 3D "some body help me please"

i have problem with my thesis is all about transient flow past a cilynder 3D. how to mesh cylinder in 3d??
how to find cd, ca, cm, n cl??
how to find amplitude cylinder vibration that caused viv in fluent or cfx??
somebody have tutorial about my case?? i use ansys 13

Do the CFX tutorials and you should be able to work it out. Even though none of the tutorials cover exactly what you are doing the concepts can be adapted to what you are doing.

The flow over a bluff body tutorial looks like an obvious place to start. But I would do all the tutorials if you are new to CFX.
