anisotropic copper

Hello everyone,

pls does anybody know how to define anisotropic property of copper in CFX R13.0???

Thanks a lot for any answer

I am not sure how to define anisotropic properties of solids. I already tried to do something like that but I couldn't.

I believe that you have to do a multi-coupled run with Ansys mechanical in order to define the anisotropic properties (at the mechanical)...

Let's see if anybody else has done it on CFX... because I am interested too...

in terms of thermal conductivity, anisotropy is possible (hidden beta feature). there was a post about it in here somewhere

[edit] found it, and it happened to be your own post, so i'm guessing you're looking for something other than conductivity :)

yes I found the solution just after posting this thread :)
so via command line in CFX Launcher it is possible to change solid properties...
