Heat transfer (option) -> Iso-thermal

In Default Domain -> Fluid model -> heat transfer (option) -> Iso-thermal/none

If Iso-thermal is selected, the heat equation is not solved anyways. So whats the difference between selecting Iso-thermal and none option.

I what kind of cases do we have to select Iso-thermal over none ???

Thank you.

Use Isothermal when you use an Ideal Gas and therefore a temperature is required to calculate density.

Thanks Stumpy !!

I have the same doubt.

If None is selected, Temperature is not available at all; therefore, you cannot even evaluate a property at your desired temperature.

Effectively, every single property must be a provided constant value.

If your simulation has been using constant properties, both options None and isothermal are effectively identical.
