Backup mdef simulation

Hello there!

I was running a simulation with four configurations of fluid flow.
The simulation is in parallel in 28 CPU, with linux operational system.
The simulation crashed due to a problem on the local network.
The first configuration completed normally.
Now, I would like to backup the simulation without running the first configuration, even though the mdef file contains the four of them.
I know that I have to use the .bak file as the initial condition of the interrupted configuration. What do I do to define the first configuration without having to run it again?

Thanks.
