I am doing real time wind tunnel numerical simulation in CFX. I want to set reflective walls for wind tunnels walls.Does any body knows how to set the reflective wall boundary conditions in CFX. the reflective conditions are applicable only for open type boundary conditions in CFX and not for wall type.
please tell if any solution .!!!! |

What reflects at the walls? Are you doing a radiation simulation?

I see. Walls reflect pressure waves just fine with the normal no slip boundary condition. No need to do anything special.

That is right.
In fact slip walls are reflective too. The reflection of pressure waves comes about from the zero normal velocity at the wall. Anything which stops (or even just impedes) flow normal to it will reflect pressure waves. |

Until now i am using free slip boundary conditions.. but i don't know know how to check weather how to check weather the wave is reflected or not . is there any post processing procedure ... |

Viewing the pressure field should do it.
