general doubt on solver control

i m actually generating a complete rotor using cfx .... i have used 70,00000 mesh nodes for my first simulation and got a result file for that ...but nw i wer in a situation to increase the mesh nodes to about 80,00000....so is it possible to give 70,00000 mesh node result file as an initialization file for solving the 80,00000 mesh file....

Yes, the initial condition interpolator will handle that, providing the domains are in the same location in XYZ space.

thank you so much for ur help

so is it neccassary that i need to TURN ON that initial interpolator option while running

Well, you set the job up (either in solver manager or the command line) using an initial condition. If the initial condition mesh does not match the simulation mesh it will automatically interpolate.

thank you so much
