Dear All,
I was completed NACA rotor ansys with uniform pressure at inlet in CFX.I got results, which were almost matched with experimental data. Now i want to do same ansys with non uniform pressure at inlet. If anyone of us know about this process plz share with me and guide me for getting best results.my mailing address is sivajiganesh9@gmail.com. thank you for spending your valuable time.

What type of pressure distribution do you want to apply?

Thanq for responding sir, The profile is varied along the radius from Hub to shroud (i.e. i want to take more points near hub and casing and). Its looks curvature at hub & shroud.

If you have an expression as a function of position then you can either define a CEL expression or use a 1D or 3D interpolation function.

I dnt have any expression as a function of position, in CFX help file i read as by importing of .CSV file for running this case. I had assumed some points (Pressure values) at hub and casing BCZ i know the Static Pressure range, by plotting graph the Pressure Vs Radius its given curvature which was similar to what i want. But its not running properly after few iterations solutions stops.

So is your problem that you cannot implement the varying pressure boundary, or that your model does not converge?

The profile is loading normally but its not creating any results file (i.e. .res file)

Dear Glenn, the inlet pressure profile is loading normally but its not creating any results file (i.e. .res file). I stuked with this case.

If it does not produce a res file then either:

1) You told it not to.
2) The solver crashed
3) The solver had a problem reassembling the final results, this sometimes happens in parallel runs.

If it is 1) then well, you can sort that one out.

If it is 2 or 3 then you will need to post the output file (as an attachment) on the forum for us to help you.
