This is the formula for Quadratic Resistanc Coefficient Can any one explain each term in this formula |

dP/dx is the pressure change (loss) in the direction of flow. u is the velocity. That's about all there is to it.

Either from experimental data or you can assume it to be some known flow (maybe a pipe flow, or flat plate) and assume the catalytic converter pressure drop can be approximated by it.
