Hello,

I made a simulation of free surface flow of water in a canal (in transient study ) and in post-processing i want to plot the water height according to time on the point defined by the intersection between line 1 and the isosurface in the canal (See Attachment).

- It was easy if we could create a point by intersection between line and isosurface!!

I do not see how I can do that knowing that I have not the height of water but I have the water volume fraction.

Thank you for helping me

You need to use a bit of lateral thinking.....

Generate a line from the bottom to the top of the domain at the location you wish to measure depth. Then do a line integral of water volume fraction. And there you have the water depth.
