I did a HVAC simulation and the people there was represented by cylinder with temperature fixed in 37.5 degrees. So, how can i know the heat transfer by the people and air in this simulation?
Thanks |

In post processing select the surfaces which represent the people and do an area integral of heat flux.

Don't take constant temperature for human here
Find the heat out of the body for the case (type of work person doing) for which you are doing HVAC simulation. Example : It may be basal heat = 90 watts appx. (due to metabolic heat ) for average human radiating heat. Find metabolic heats . Find heat flux out of the average body for that particular case, take into account the type of work people are doing , + add little resistance from the type of clothing (if u also like accuracy )................... Cheers!!! |
