Have a look at the free surface flow over a bump tutorial to see how to set up free surface models.

No, your help was very useful. but for my modeling should i use those expression exactly (for open channel flows)? I've a problem,in my modeling at the inlet boundary, height of water equal 0.08 m and also at the outlet boundary height of water is 0.08 m . should i change these expression in this tutorial (tutorial number 9.)? Thanks again |

The tutorials give you an introduction to the field. You should be able to get your case working from there. If the tutorials are not sufficient for you then consider doing some CFX ANSYS training - have a look at the ANSYS website for training details.
