I dont know how to calculate the velocity through catalytic housing in the "setting initial values" in the catalytic housing in the tutorial. Please give your idea

and

why do put initial condition in the catalytic housing?

is it necessary?

If it is necessary shall I put 0m/s as the the initial setting

Is this a steady state simulation? If so then for most simulations it will find the correct solution regardless of the initial guess. For some simulations an initial guess which is close is necessary for convergence, but this is the minority of simulations (but are probably the more interesting ones :)
