Suppose you are interested in the final flow patterns. Then for that I would suggest you introduce velocity monitors through out the domain and watch those value reach a certain value during solver. Once they have reached a statistically stationary state then try to reduce your time step value to reduce your residual value to suppose 1e-5. Then you can consider your simulation converged.

Hi, I checked out the link, it says to read a Tips on obtaining convergence section in the CFX documentation. Can you please provide a link to it as I am finding difficulty in finding this section. Thanks

/ANSYS Inc/commonfiles/v140/help/en-us/pdf, then all the PDF files starting with cfx_*.pdf. The Modelling guide, pre, theory and reference manual contain useful information.
