How to read pressure or nodal force in junction box?

Hi,
I want to couple cfx to my FEA code, but I don't know how to get the pressure, temperature or force results of the boundary nodes.
I plan to use USER_GETVAR, but it says "USER_GETVAR is not relevant to junction box routines" in the modeling book, I gusse POKE or PEEK subroutine may be right one, any body can tell me or give an example.
Thanks!

Why couple CFX to another FEA code using your own routines? CFX is already tightly coupled to ANSYS and this coupling has had years of development. And if that is not good enough, then you can use MPCCI to couple CFX to just about anything.

I am doing some aerothermoelastic caculations coupled CFD/CTD/FEA, the first step called "trimming" was accomplished, and second step "trasient response", I want to use mode superposition method coupling with CFX because some reason(especially for initial conditions:(). I didn't have MPCCI, some people also tell me it is impossible to couple with thirdparty code using MPCCI without avaliable license. Also need thanks!

I read some old posts, and found the GETVAR:confused: subroutine may be solved my problem, but I don't know how to use it. Thanks for any help!:)

Yes MPCCI is commercial software so you will need to purchase it. Likewise ANSYS FEA is commercial software. But given then the coupling you are talking about is already implemented then why do it again?

I said there were some unexplainable reasons about using CFX and ANSYS, and there is no plan to purchase MPCCI software for our research team. We already developed an wounderful FEA code, the key to the question still is how to read pressure or nodal force in the junction box. Do you know any thing about GETVAR subroutine?

I do not know GETVAR very well. I recommend you contact support and get this information.

Hi codezhang, I am also trying to extract velocity field at the nodes at every timestep to calculate some custom values. Have you figure out how to do this? Thank you!
