spray modelling

Hi everyone! I'd like to know why if I inject little droplets of water (about 0.7 micron) by means of a ''particle injection region'' after a lot of iterations the message (not literally) is ''no particle has been injected because of your particle injection region settings''. The simulation goes on anyway

Someone can help me and tell me what am I doing wrong??

Sounds pretty obvious to me, your particle tracking is not set up correctly and nothing was injected. But the simulation proceeded along happily with no particle tracking.

Have you done the tutorials on particle tracking? Can you post your CEL?

No, I haven't done the tutorials, but I have done particle tracking simulations before with good results. Maybe the mistake lies in injecting particles by means both of a particle injection region and also through the moist air entry.

For further information, it's a 2D simulation. rectangular domain of 0,15 x 0,05 m. Hexahedral mesh size 3e-04. Timestep 0,0025 s, according with residence time...

Thank you very much for your help ghorrocks.

It should be just a routine debugging exercise on why no particle appear to be injected. It is almost certainly a problem in your simulation setup. So start hunting and hopefully you will find it.

Ok ghorrocks, my problem is solved. Thank you very much for your help. Greetings
