Hello, I am trying to simulate turbulent flow over a heated plate (at a fixed temperature boundary condition) in COMSOL and calculate the local heat flux from the wall to the fluid. After computing, I can visualize how the thermal boundary layer is developing along the length of the plate, which is how I expected. But when I plot the local heat fluxes I get odd trends.
I plotted a line over the wall and calculated the heat flux terms (unfortunately couldn't find any details in the manual). Can anyone please tell me how I can plot heat fluxes from the wall to the fluid? Thanks. |
