Greetings
I simulate a rigid Vortex Generator in a channel that worked like a obstacle in flow's path. in laminar regime, comsol could capture Von Karman vorticities. now I want to model this situation with Turbulence model to prove that laminar and turbulence results are same and we can use laminar equation. but when I run turbulence model in this velocity ( Re = 1000 which regime is laminar), comsol can't capture any vorticities. channel dimension: 5mm * 75 mm RVG is located in 15mm far from inlet, and it's dimension: 0.2mm * 4mm with attack angle of 45 degree. inlet velocity= 1.71 m/s fluid is air (gas) anyone can help me to do this project. thanks for ur attention. |
