Hi! I'm modeling a 3D magnus rotor in air, which is a rotating cylinder. I only care about the lift and drag coefficients so I only modeled the fluid part. I tried to model the rotation by adding a sliding wall, but the result is not making sense. I wonder how I can calculate the values of the velocity component of the sliding wall in order to model the rotation.
This is the model, and only the cylinder is rotating:
