Hi,
I am working on a axisymmetric non premixed turbulent combustion problem in converge 2.3 software. I am using RIF model for combustion along with GRI mech 3.0 mechanism for methane fuel. but I am getting the following runtime error message in converge. [iceng1:81833] Signal: Floating point exception (8) [iceng1:81833] Signal code: Integer divide-by-zero (1) [iceng1:81833] Failing at address: 0x511f5b Any suggestion would be a great help for me. Thank you Jagmohan |

Hi Jagmohan,
This type of error message is very general and could be associated with several different issues. This error message is not explicitly linked to an error with the RIF combustion model. For instance, there could be an issue with the CFD case setup, the grid settings, or even the geometry. In order to determine the root cause of the error, we will need to learn more information about your simulation. In this situation, we recommend you email support@convergecfd.com and send the entire case setup and logfile. Once you send an email, this case will be distributed to a support team member who will be in contact with you shortly. Thank you, |
