Just as the title says,Can converge 2.3 use RANS/LES method like DES in turbulence modeling setting?

Because my case is simulation of a marine diesel engine, this case need a lot of resource on the computation if i set base grid scale to 8 mm, and I mainly focus on the airflow in the cylinder,Can I make the cylinder use LES and inport and outport use RANS in CONVERGE 2.3 ?

Shen Shiquan,

As in V2.3, it is not possible to do LES and RANS region based. We understand the benefit of running the region of interest with LES (cylinder region) and the rest with RANS, this is the reason why that our development team is actively looking into it and we hope to have this feature released in a near future.

Thanks for your reply,Hope Converge 2.4 can have RANS/LES function soon,it is
really useful for doing simulation of bulky engine
