What is the best choice in Converge for minimizing wave reflections at boundaries?

I am trying to use results from a 1D simulation code to provide boundary conditions to my 3D simulation (intake manifold). I know that a poor choice in boundary setup in 3D will result in wave reflections at the coupling boundary. I am still unsure whether the best option is to work on mass flow rate (Dirichlet, Neumann condition for pressure), to impose pressure as a Dirichlet condition, or something else.

What is the best way to do this in Converge?
Many thanks in advance!

For coupled simulations with a 1D code like GT-Power, we recommend massflow on an inflow and pressure on an outflow when imposing boundary conditions.

If you aren't coupling with the 1D code, but imposing results as the boundary condition, we recommend pressure on both the inflow and outflow.
