problem in the ECFM combustion model
Hello forever
trying to simulate the combustion (fuel=hydrogen) in an ICE using cfd converge 2.3 using the ECFM combustion model for the emmission of NOx, i select the extended zeldovitch nox model selecting ECFM combustion model, i see that the reaction mechanism is disappear but in laminar flamme setup and for all model (metghalchi, gulder and IFPEN metghalchi) i don't find the hydrogen H2 as fuel i try to choose the metghalchi model and a "user defined" as fuel , i find a several problems when i validate the case i don't understand whey converge ask about "CO2" and "CO" ?? because i don't need to add them in the species because i use hydrogen H2 as fuel? the same question about the other species "bfuel" "unmixfuel" that converge write "required for ECFM3Z model" ?????????????? |
You cannot use ECFM with H2 as only HC fuels are supported currently with ECFM combustion model.
You can use SAGE detailed chemistry for H2 combustion. Thanks, |
