Hello,
I am using ECFM model for simulation of PFI engine. For that I need ignition delay data.
How to get ignition delay and reaction rate data for the model?
Can you please help me?
Thanks!

Hello Ankit,

We recommend using the Imposed Strech Spark Ignition Model (ISSIM) with ECFM simulations and request you to share your reservations (knocking?). Nonetheless you may use the tabulated kinetics ignition (TKI) model. Please write to support@convergecfd.com if you need an account on IFPEN web portal or share (via email) your reaction mechanism so that we can generate the TKI file for you.

The reaction rate for burnt and unburnt fuel may be accessed via passives OMEGA_CFM and OMEGA_BG respectively.

Thanks,
