How to stop a running case

Hi everyone,
I am wondering how to stop the running case in the simulation. I am using the CONVERGE on a linux cluster. I was using "qdel" to delete the job directly. But I'm afraid it might not be good to use "qdel". Best, |

To stop a simulation, create a file called "stop" without any extension in the case directory.
CONVERGE will read this file and end after the next calculated timestep, including creation of restart and map files. |
