Hello,

I was wondering what should be the start and end time of nozzle fixed embedding? Is it exactly start and end time of injection?

Amin.

Hello Amin,

It is recommended that you start your injector/nozzle embedding a few crank angles before start of injection and remove the embedding a few crank angles after the end of injection.

Please have a look at one of our example cases with spray modeling (SI8-engine_PFI_SAGE for example) to have a better idea.

Sincerely,

Srivastava
