Hello,
I'm going to delete the list of species which I imported through gas thermodynamic data. Is it possible to delete some species here?

Amin.

Hi Amin,

Thanks for asking about this. Yes, you can delete the species that are not being used in the simulation, however, having extra species in therm.dat does not affect the simulation. CONVERGE will look up the therm.dat data only for the species being used in the simulation and will ignore the others. If you still want to delete the extra species, you can open the therm.dat file in any text editor and delete unwanted species and the corresponding data.

Thanks,

Hello Kbansal,

Thank you for your answer. Actually, I imported a wrong therm.dat file. When I'm going to import a new one the previous therm.dat species are still there. Sometimes I have two similar species with different thermodynamic coefficients. So, there is a ''fix duplicate'' but I'm not sure how CONVERGE keeps the one species and delete the another one. I appreciate if you could help me.

Hi Amin,

Instead of doing this in the Studio, a quicker way would be to just replace the wrong therm.dat file with the correct one in your working folder. This way there should be no duplicates.

Thanks,

Thanks,
It does not matter what I have uploaded in my gas thermodynamic? CONVERGE just reads the therm.dat in the case setup file? Is that right?
