cpu usage percentage

I'm running on four cores converge 2.4. Which is the cpu use percentage which is considerated normal? I stay on 65% on average, there is something i can do it to reach 100%? Thanks

I am running simulations with 8 licenses on a 10core CPU, average usage is around 75%. Pretty close to the max. possible of 80% then.

Of course, the less the number of cores you use, the bigger might be a difference in cell number assigned to the cores and therefore single cores may have to wait for results of others, reducing the overall CPU usage.

How are you monitoring the CPU usage?

I'm using Linux w/ all the available cores (24) and the CPU usage is 99-100%
