should we provide approximate combustion duration for sage solver to solve ?

Hi,
you should to speed up you simulation, as SAGE is computionally expensive. Typical are ranges from IGN timing up to EVO, when looking at the cylinder only. If you expect reactions prior to spark, you can set it earlier. Since there is a cutoff temp defined, any cell below 600K (default setting) wont use SAGE anyway. Also dont forget to make SAGE region specific if you are not interested in post combustion reactions and emissions in exhaust ports. |
