Hi,
I am planning to simulate diesel combustion using a sector. However, before that I will run a simulation for induction process on the whole cylinder to obtain data for swirl, etc. I will use this data for mapping the sector. My question is: how can I apply mapping data from the whole cylinder to only the sector of it? Thank you in advance. |

when you apply the whole engine mapping to the sector geometry, It automatically reads ijk of the cells in sector geometry and apply the mapping variables to those cells. I hope this will help Best regards P |

Map data is simply a point cloud, and whereever your geometry overlaps with this data, it will initialize from there. Cells outside the data cloud will be interpolated as well, but this usually makes no sense.
