hi,
I am doing research about piston bowl of diesel engine. There are some questions about the surface.dat. As the piston bowl could not be made through rotating a profile directly,I didn't use the tool named make engine sector surface.
When I imported stl file from other CAD software to CONVERGE,it appears "WARNING :areas of periodic boundaries 2 and 3 do not match. This may cause mass loss","periodic boundary area diff: 3.751019832262e-08".
Sometimes simulation completed, but most of cases just teminated without any tips in compression stroke.
Anybody can help me solve the problem?

Thanks.
Alex

the periodic boundaries should have exactly the same area

if warning message reports the difference in the areas of the two periodic boundaries

could you check your periodic boundaries 2 and 3 in the geometry? they seem mismatch
