Injection with bundary or region

Hi everyone, im wondering how i can realize the injection function on my CFD model with boundary or region definition, cuz my injector dosent have a real nozzel its more like a inflow-channel. Are there any Suggetions from u? Thanks in advance!:)

Hi, are you using spray modeling or Eulerian modeling of the spray?

Thank u for ur reply Yanheng! I have used spray modeling. But collegue told me that there is no actual spray with my model and I shouldnt use spray modeling. Cuz the opening of the injector is like intake and exhaust channel Its actuallyalso a small injecting channel. so the fuel will not be "pulverized" like the real spray. Thats why i dont know how i can realize such a Injection. Thank u again!

Hi, if you are going to use the Eulerian approach, then turn off spray modeling, and turn on VOF modeling if there is also gas phase existing. You can just set the orifice as a "Inflow" boundary with a mass-flow boundary condition, and you can check the "use file" option in Studio and provide the temporal injection rate profile.
