Reaction mechanism file for methanol as well as methanol-diesel dual fuel case

Hello everyone,
I am looking for combustion reaction mechanism file for following
1.Methanol
2.Methanol-diesel dual fuel.
can anyone help in giving the mech.dat and therm.dat file.
My Mail_id : kasi.panda@gmail.com
Thanking you in advance.

Hi,

Check the following mechanism: http://creckmodeling.chem.polimi.it/...sel-surrogates

You might want to read the listed papers to figure out what is the diesel surrogate to use. It seems like its NC12H26 but you should double check. This mechanism has CH3OH chemistry as well.

This is a fairly large mechanism:201 species. If needed you can use CONVERGE's chemistry tools to reduce this mechanism to a manageable size. I would be careful in using both laminar flame speed and ignition delay targets when reducing the mechanism as this seems like an RCCI application.

If you decide to run with the larger mechanism, then you'd want to use CONVERGE's "skip_species" option to reduce transport calculation time when combustion is not taking place.

Please contact CONVERGE support team at support@convergecfd.com using your official email address if you have further questions.

We also have a 32 species methanol mechanism (does not have diesel chemistry) that we can give you when you email us.

Dear Sameera,
sorry for the late reply...The reduced mechanism you shared is for n-heptane not methanol-diesel dual fuel....would you suggested to merge the mechanisms of n-heptane and methanol in converge to get the methanol-diesel dual fuel. Thank you for your answer

I want to get methanol mechanism of 32 species. My mail-id is kasi.panda@gmail.com.Can you please share your mail-id too?

Thank you,
With Regards
