Hello everybody

I want to study a two-phase flow on an inclined wall. But as you all know, the mesh on converge is Cartesian. So when the wall is inclined, the mesh is no longer parallel to the bottom wall (see figure below). so I heard that the INLAID MESH function can create mesh layers.

Can you help me please ?

Morning,

Yes the latest release of Converge 3.0 can create cells parallel to the wall of your surfaces, where desired, built entirely from the original surface.

Because of that, depending on the complexity of your surface, and therefore the tessellation density of the triangles representing its curvature, you may have to refine your surface.

But don't worry, all can be done within Converge Studio. Just reach out to the support engineers. Once you have seen it once, you'll be able to work away yourself pretty easily. All works the same as building any boundary layer cells grid in any other CFD solver

Good luck
