Hello everyone,

I am pretty much new to Converge and CFD in general, therefore I apologize in advance for inaccuracies or lack of informations.

I'd like to run a VOF simulation injecting a surrogate fuel for Fast Pyrolysis Bio Oil (FPBO). The surrogate composition has been derived from literature. Among the others, it contains Levoglucosan (C6 H10 O5) which is a "sugar" and a solid at room temperature. I'm currently using Yaws formulae and coefficients from literature to interpolate the needed properties in liquid calculator. Regarding the viscosity of Levoglucosan in particular (not the only one), I was not able to retrieve data since it is a solid a room temperature.

My question is, is there a way to "blend" miscible solids in converge and, therefore, account for their presence in the thermo-pysical properties calculation procedure? Am I doing it wrong or maybe should I use another tool?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards, Alessandro.
