Hi,

I am getting this warning in run.log when I start a simulation:

A high-performance Open MPI point-to-point messaging module
was unable to find any relevant network interfaces:

Module: OpenFabrics (openib)
Host: ip-10-0-0-42

Another transport will be used instead, although this may result in
lower performance.

NOTE: You can disable this warning by setting the MCA parameter
btl_base_warn_component_unused to 0.

Should I worry about it? Will this slow down my calculations as implied? I am running my simulations on AWS EC2 instances (one instance, multiple processors).

Hello Guillaume,

This warning can be safely ignored. It's just saying it is unable to find any InfiniBand interconnect hardware. CONVERGE 3.0 works best with a high-performance interconnect such as InfiniBand or Omni-Path. But this is expected on an AWS server, and not relevant for a single-node simulation in any case.
