Hydrogen gas injection
 

I am new to this software.
I need to create a gas stage hydrogen direct injector on the engine sector dual fuel diesel engine.
Can someone help me or a little guide?

Please review the below example case in v3.0 CONVERGE Studio:

File --> example cases --> Internal_Combustion_Engines --> Hydrogen_spark_ignition
--> Sandia_hydrogen_DI_engine_SAGE_transient_RANS/

This will show you how H2 injection should be done. You simply have to have an inflow with the correct mass flow or pressure boundary condition.

You can add this to the engine sector geometry or to any other geometry of your choice.

If you are going to use natural gas and H2 dual fuel combustion, you might want to pay special consideration to the chemistry mechanism. If you do not have a suitable mechanism, please contact Support@convergecfd.com using your official email and we might be able to send you the chemistry mechanism.
