This video, courtesy of the Wind Section of the REASE group at the University of Florence, shows a simulation of a DTU 10 MW reference wind turbine. The wind turbine was simulated using an actuator line model (ALM). ALMs replace the rotor blade with 1D lines that impose body forces corresponding to blade loading on the flow field.
