Liquid Properties

Hi,

Can Studio or its liquid property calculator be used to calculate fuel blend liquid properties based on mass or molar fractions of components?

Hello,

Are you asking about creating a liquid.dat file with multiple fuel components? You can add multiple fuels in the liquid or parcel properties window in Studio. If you're injecting the fuel, you can specify the mass fraction of the different components in the parcel settings.

Hope this helps,

Angela

Thank you Angela,

Yes familiar with this approach, but looking to test the composite fuel approach to try reduce run time. For the composite fuel blend I am attempting to mix the components based on the mass fraction of the components as a first attempt to create blended properties, but I dont think the tool can do this?
