Importing Volume definitions

Hello!

I've been playing around with enGrid for some days, and I really like this tool.

However, I'm aiming at quite complex geometries with a lot of volumes (>10), so I want to ask if there is any possibility to import volume definitions into enGrid (e.g. from blender, or Gmsh).

I would also greatly appreciate a "mesh all volumes" button

Greetings Tina and welcome to the forum!

I'm not aware of such a possibility in the latest enGrid versions. At most, you can properly define all surfaces in Blender, but then the volume grouping of the boundary surfaces will have to be done in enGrid.

I suggest that you contact the official support line at enGits and either ask for further assistance on this and/or for sponsoring such features

And don't forget that since enGrid is open source, you might be interested in coding this yourself to add such a feature and using Github's "Pull Request" feature to request it to be added to the main source code!
