Apologies if anything I say is inapplicable, I'm new to both EnSight and the forum. That being said I've read the rules, and searched past posts and the user manual to no avail.

I'm having difficulties finding the areas defined by the intersection of a clip plane and the elements through which it cuts. Essentially the areas of the polygons shown on the clip plane once "Overlay hidden lines" has been enabled as seen below.






Looking at the calculator, there's an option for "EleSize" but from what I can gather this returns the volume for each of the elements intercepted by the cut plane, not the intersection area.

Any help or advice is appreciated, thanks!

I believe I managed to figure out what was happening, I think that EleSize was working correctly, however I needed it in a nodal format to export and work properly which was causing my issues without my realising. I used ElemToNode(EleSize) in the calculator and that seems to have done the trick. My fault for missing something simple, apologies.
