Hello I am a 3D artist/ game designer currently working on an university project for the aviation department. The goal is to create a "virtual" wind tunnel for VR /AR purposes. So i got a.res file which I loaded into ensight created multiple particle traces and Clip planes and exported them separatly as a glb file per hand. This works fine but since there are multiple .res files with varying placements/ degrees of the object (a wing of an airplane) I need to do this with a python command. But when I do this the wing itself and the clip planes get exported but the particle traces are not getting exported. I do not get why it works when i export it manualy but not when it is a python script. I have already asked a few people frome the aviation department but they primarly work in the "main" ansys application so at this point I think I am more familiar with ensight than they are. So I hope someone can explain to me what is going on.
Thanks in advance |
