Inlet boundary condition: SubSonic or SuperSonic?

Hello, everyone!
The FINE/turbo Boundary Condition of inlet or outlet gives us two main option: subsonic and supersonic. But after I set my subsonic B.C(for example total composed), then switch to supersonic B.C. And then come back to subsonic, it changed to the default option(static composed)!
My question: do we should specify whether the inlet is subsonic or supersonic at the very beginning? What if the B.C is changed during the calculation?

Based on the physics of the flow or your previous experience you will decide whether the flow is subsonic or supersonic.
If you have set a wrong B.C., you can simply stop the Fine/Turbo and change it.
