Propeller mesh problem for Autogrid 5

2 Attachment(s)
Hello, CFD friends

Recently, when I use geomturbo file to generate propeller mesh by using Autogrid 5, very twisted mesh happens at the tip region. I have tried to increase the accuracy of the data file. It turned out to be no use.

Only if I increase the chord length, this problem can be fixed. However this is not the right thing I can do.

The picture is showing like below. Please help me

Hi Johnson,
Can you please tell me if you could solve the problem. I'm stuck with the same kind of problem.
I'd really appreciate your help.

Good Morning,

It seems the skewed mesh observed on the pictures of the initial post is due to a distorted leading edge geometry. I would advice to review the leading edge shape in case the same issue is encountered. Mesh generation of aircraft or marine propellers is usually quite straightforward with AutoGrid5. Especially with the wizard.

Regards.
