Negative Volume In Block
Hello,
This problem make the solver crashed. "Computation stop because of negative volumes. Negative volume found in block." How to overcome this problem? What should I overlook? Thank you. |
Hi,
Did it crash soon after the run started ? Are you using mesh deformation ? Do you witness significant amplitude motions ? It may be that at t=0s the body is quite far away from its final position, which leads to significant mesh deformation, which can lead to negative volumes. |
You have to carefully check your mesh generation process. A common error is related to Unit value: double check it.
You may also try to refine the grid close to gaps or fillet (if there are any). www.ampsolutions.it |
