Negative Volume In Block

Hello,

This problem make the solver crashed.

"Computation stop because of negative volumes.
Negative volume found in block."

How to overcome this problem?
What should I overlook?

Thank you.

Hi,

Did it crash soon after the run started ? Are you using mesh deformation ?
Do you witness significant amplitude motions ? It may be that at t=0s the body is quite far away from its final position, which leads to significant mesh deformation, which can lead to negative volumes.

You have to carefully check your mesh generation process. A common error is related to Unit value: double check it.
You may also try to refine the grid close to gaps or fillet (if there are any).
