Unsteady - Modal Coupling
Hello,
I’ve been trying to run the FSI unsteady simulation using modal coupling method in FINE/Turbo (version 12.1). I used fct(time) to impose the generalized displacement for the mode shape. However, I got this message when I started the solver: “! Error in the number of points for displacement profile, nData = 0” What does this message exactly mean? I’ve given enough points for the displacement though. I did run the same model using NLH method. There wasn’t any problem with that. The idea is to compare the two runs (unsteady and NLH). On a separate question, I’m also wondering if it is possible to change IBPA in unsteady mode in a same way as Harmonic mode. Thank you. |
Hey Ko_Shine,
did you solve the problem? I have the same problem and couldn't figure out how to fix it. Best regards, AndrijaG |
Hi,
Yeah I solved that problem more than one year ago. In my case, there were two groups of patches that were coupled sharing the same mode shape file. I needed to group them together as a single patch. I hope it helps! |
Hey Ko_Shine,
thanks for your fast response. I'll try to fix it with that hint. Thank you! |
