Accuracy of ANN
 

What are the criteria for evaluating the accuracy of ANN using Design3D? I am not talking about the effects of number of initial training samples. Thanks

If we talk about the software itself accuracy of ANN like other iterative processes can be controlled either by max. iterations or the acceptable error within the iterations.
If the accuracy of the ANN to mimic the output targets (i.e. efficiency, power,etc.) is intended, no explicit instruction exists. you should always check its outputs with those of simulations and keep in mind that as the number of cases increases the accuracy of ANN may increase.
Fortunately it is possible to check the performance of ANN at each design iteration in Design3D. When number of iterations are sufficiently large you will see that ANN predictions and simulation results will come together.
