who can give examples of turbine torque comput
 
There is a tubine which working under the 3 bar water pressure and 10L/min flow rate.I want to know the torque of the turbine.How to do it? Is there some similar computation examples avilable? Can somebody help me do it step by step, I am a newcomer and not familiar the numeca at all! Thanks a lot!

I think you should read the manual of Fine_turbo, at chapter 8-2.4.3 (Force and Torque) step: 1.select the patches Boundary condition->solid select the patches at the left, you want to calculate the torque of the turbine, so I think you should select all the rotate patches of the turbine, such as the pressure side and the suction side of the turbine impeller, and the hub patches of the turbine... 2. at the right side, below the box, there is a "Compute force and torque" button, selcet it. 3. set other parameters, after run the project. the output of the Torque is you want. The torque is global parameter. the default direction of the moment is (0,0,1)

hi, can any one tell how to calculate torque in mixing tank with available flow field. i have generated the flow field, now i want to find the toque developed in tank. if any one knows plz mail me the procedure to obtain torque
