Multiple UNS files to time series

I am able to generate a complete fieldview UNS file (geometry & data) for a point in time. Assuming that I have several such files (identical geometry), is there a utility that can strip redundant geometry? Or perhaps to marry up the data frames in some sort of formal time series?
